パトラス大学＠ギリシャへ出張中(小平）/ 短期留学中(D1大曽根） Currently on a Currently on a business trip(kodaira) on a short-term study abroad program at the University of Patras in Greece (D1 Osone)
4月29日から7月30日の期間、Erasmus+プログラムとして、D1大曽根さんがギリシアのパトラス大学へ留学しています。（PI小平も開始10日間同行しています）現地から送られてくる写真を随時アップしていきます。
羽田空港からまずはイスタンブール空港へ到着。ここから乗り換えてアテネへと向かいます。
アテネからパトラス大学のある港湾都市のパトラまでは、海沿いの道を約3時間の長距離バスで向かいます。

研究打ち合わせが始まりました。Ph.D.のGiannis、ホストのProf. Panagisとみっちり2時間やりました！EUの電力市場の価格予測について、大曽根さんが担当する方向性や内容について議論しました！lets go!

ギリシャの電力市場に関する研究を行っているProf. Papadaskalopoulosです。ギリシャの市場構造は分からないので、とても勉強になります。共同研究の方向性と実際に行うシミュレーションの条件などかなり具体的な話が出来ました。
こちらは今年から修士課程に入った学生さんです。日本にとても興味があるとのことで今後来日するかもしれません。いろいろなお話ができました。
We'll first arrive at Istanbul Airport from Haneda Airport. From there, transfer to a flight bound for Athens.
From Athens, it’s about a three-hour ride by long-distance bus along the coastal road to Patras, a port city home to the University of Patras.

The research meeting has begun. We had an intensive two-hour research meeting with Giannis, a Ph.D. student, and our host, Prof. Panagis! We discussed the direction and content of Mr. Osone’s work on price forecasting for the EU electricity market! Let’s go!

At an open-air café where we took a coffee break. It was a lovely, open space, and with the nice weather, we had a wonderful time.
This is Prof. Papadaskalopoulos, who is conducting research on the Greek electricity market.
Since we aren’t very familiar with the structure of the Greek market, this has been very informative. We were able to discuss quite specific details, such as the direction of our joint research and the conditions for the simulations we’ll actually conduct.
This is a student who started a master’s program this year. She said she’s very interested in Japan, so she might come here in the future. We had a chance to talk about all sorts of things.
